About Me

I am a sequential artist with ten years experience in freelance illustration. I've had experience in multiple career fields including education and production design. I am initially from Austin, TX, but I currently live in Beijing, China.

My experience interacting with a wide variety of clients through freelance illustration has taught me to be flexible, listen intently to feedback, and be efficient in producing work. I enjoy working with a team of artists towards a larger goal, and flourish in a group environment. I communicate clearly and have a knack for turning creative ideas into a reality. I believe all of these are great qualities for an artist to have in the art and design field.

My ultimate career goal would be to work as a part of a visual development team within the animation industry. I enjoy solving problems, taking abstract concepts and making them into a reality. The challenge that the industry brings is fun and fast paced whether it is figuring out the right look and attitude for a character, making an environment fantastical yet believable, or building a solid back story. Every project is a new opportunity to explore and create new worlds, and I love every part of that adventure.
